Deal of the Year - Retail, Hospitality & Leisure

This award recognises transformative transactions in the retail, hospitality and leisure property sector, celebrating deals that reshape hotels, resorts, leisure facilities, and related industries. These deals demonstrate excellence in innovation, stakeholder engagement, and industry impact.


Deal of the Year - Science, Innovation & Healthcare

This award celebrates transformative transactions in the science, innovation and healthcare sectors, focusing on deals involving research facilities, innovation hubs, healthcare centres, and life sciences developments. These deals are recognised for their strategic importance, creativity, and potential to drive progress in science and technology.


Developer of the Year - Offices

Are you the standout commercial real estate developer of the past year in the office sector? Have you developed landmark office schemes, pioneered innovative ideas, or delivered flagship projects that have transformed workspaces and raised industry standards? This category celebrates developers who have demonstrated excellence, innovation, and leadership in the development of office spaces.


Developer of the Year - Industrial & Logistics 

Are you the leading developer in the industrial and logistics sector? This category acknowledges those who have delivered transformative developments in warehouses, distribution hubs, and industrial spaces. Whether through groundbreaking design, exceptional ESG impact, or innovative solutions, this award honours developers who have set new standards in industrial and logistics property development.


Developer of the Year - Retail, Hospitality & Leisure

Are you the standout developer in the retail, hospitality, and leisure sectors? This category celebrates projects that have redefined shopping centres, hotels, restaurants, leisure facilities, and entertainment spaces. Developers who have delivered innovative, bold, and transformative schemes in these sectors are encouraged to enter.


Developer of the Year - Science, Innovation & Healthcare

Are you the leading developer in the science, innovation, and healthcare sectors? This category recognises developers who have delivered cutting-edge projects in research facilities, innovation hubs, healthcare centres, and life sciences developments. Projects that demonstrate bold vision, exceptional ESG commitment, and a strong impact on these sectors will be celebrated.


Outstanding Placemaking Award

This category aims to celebrate the best commercial or commercial-led, mixed-use development scheme that has regenerated or physically improved the built environment on and around a particular site, disused building or location. The award is aimed at private-sector and public-private projects, including mixed-use but NOT pure residential. These projects might have bought land, buildings or localities back into sustainable economic use or created a built environment that changes the perception or use of a location. Projects or initiatives still at the planning stage are not eligible.


Alternatives Team of the Year

Do you have a dedicated alternatives team that deals with some of the following alternative asset classes: student housing, PRS, later living, healthcare, hotels, self -storage, data centres, automotive, education or renewables? Have you moved the dial in the past year with a ground-breaking initiative, strategy, or deal? Are you blazing a trail that others are following? Then we want to hear from you. This category is open to all teams specialising in alternatives.


Property Agency of the Year (under 100 employees)

Open to smaller agencies that have significant operations in the property industry. Eligible agencies include but are not limited to:

• Agencies serving a particular vertical sector such as retail and hospitality, offices, industrial & logistics, life sciences, or residential. • Agencies serving a particular region within the UK .

• Agencies serving particular process elements, such as valuation, financing, leasing, sales or acquisitions Agencies that are NOT eligible include but are not limited to:

• Public relations, communications or social media agencies

• Investor relations agencies

• Government relations or public affairs agencies


Property Agency of the Year (under 100 employees)

Open to smaller agencies that have significant operations in the property industry. Eligible agencies include but are not limited to:

• Agencies serving a particular vertical sector such as retail and hospitality, offices, industrial & logistics, life sciences, or residential.

• Agencies serving a particular region within the UK .

• Agencies serving particular process elements, such as valuation, financing, leasing, sales or acquisitions

Agencies that are NOT eligible include but are not limited to:

• Public relations, communications or social media agencies

• Investor relations agencies • Government relations or public affairs agencies


Outstanding Legal Team

This category is aimed at law firms and specialist in house property consultants (or departments of larger agency firms) that provide one or more of the following: legal advice, valuation, rating, rent review and property/land and estate management. It is also open to building surveyors, firms that provide planning/development or environmental advice and practices that are strong in arbitration, claims, expert witness or legal services. It is not open to facilities management organisations or other property advisers.


Professional Services Team of the Year

This award celebrates the commercial property professional services team that has demonstrated outstanding expertise, service, and results over the past year. If your team has gone above and beyond to deliver exceptional service to internal or external clients, we want to hear your story. Whether through innovative solutions, deep market expertise, or exemplary client care, this award seeks to honour teams setting a new standard of excellence in the commercial property sector. This category is open to in-house professional services teams or organisations primarily operating in the commercial real estate sector. Please note that legal firms should enter the Outstanding Legal Team category.


Financier of the Year - Commercial Property

This category aims to celebrate an organisation or individual that has moved the dial in the way they have provided debt or equity financing to the commercial property market in the past year. Has your firm been particularly innovative in its approach to development finance or forward funding packages, for example? Has it targeted new areas of growth? Then we want to hear from you.


Property Company of the Year (over 100 employees)

This award is aimed specifically at property organisations (active in development and/or investment) that have made a particular impact on the property industry in the past year. Have you made an important strategic change? Have you been involved in a landmark deal that has raised the bar? Have you been involved in innovative structuring, funding or partnering initiatives? Then we want to hear from you.


Property Company of the Year (under 100 employees)

This award is aimed specifically at property organisations (active in development and/or investment) that have made a particular impact on the property industry in the past year. Have you made an important strategic change? Have you been involved in a landmark deal that has raised the bar? Have you been involved in innovative structuring, funding or partnering initiatives? Then we want to hear from you. 


ED&I Initiative of the year

This award recognises an individual, team or organisation that has demonstrated exemplary commitment to promoting Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) both within your business and across the industry as a whole over the past 12 months. Entries are open to organisations dedicated to promoting EDI as well as property organisations that have undertaken specific EDI initiatives. Entries are also welcome from partnerships between the two types of organisation. We are seeking programme that go beyond rhetoric, embodying real efforts to drive positive change and foster an inclusive workplace and industry culture. Judges will be looking to see tangible change that has moved the dial with EDI, either through cultural change or workforce diversity.


Health and Wellbeing Initiative

The health and wellbeing award aims to celebrate the organisation or individual that has done the most in the past year to support the health and wellbeing of staff, occupiers or the local community. We are looking for an exemplary initiative, scheme or project that has raised the bar in terms of health and wellbeing. Has your building achieved a WELL certification and/or best-in-class environmental accreditation standard rating (e.g. BREEAM, LEED, SKA)? Have you done something ground-breaking to support the health and wellbeing of your staff or occupiers? Perhaps you have prioritised health and wellbeing features in a new scheme. Have you worked collaboratively on a community-focused project aimed at enhancing community health and wellbeing?


Social Impact Initiative

Social impact has been one of the breakthrough issues of the past few years. We want to celebrate the best social impact projects and initiatives of the past year. We are looking for an organisation or individual that has implemented, completed or committed to a ground-breaking social impact scheme, project or initiative that has had a real and measurable positive social impact on the community.


Sustainability Initiative

Over the past few years, climate change has rocketed to the top of the agenda, fuelled by the UK government’s target to reduce carbon emissions to net zero by 2050 – one of the most ambitious carbon targets in the world. We want to celebrate the ground-breaking work the commercial real estate sector is doing to tackle the climate crisis and improve the sector’s environmental credentials.


PropTech Innovator of the Year

This category recognises organisations that have utilised technology to deliver meaningful innovation within the property sector. Entries are open to new offerings or upgrades from dedicated proptech providers as well as property companies that have delivered technology-enabled strategic initiatives. A partnership between the two types of organisation is also eligible, The emphasis is on tangible results from innovative or game-changing initiatives implemented in the past 12 months.


PropTech Solution of the Year

This category recognises suppliers that provide outstanding technology products or digital services tailored to the needs of the property sector. The focus is on strong innovation, value gained by owners, agents or occupiers, a robust business model, creativity, and strategic vision.


Next Generation Leader of the Year

We are seeking the stars of the future—those who demonstrate the entrepreneurial spirit, tenacity, and vision needed to steer and lead the commercial property industry for years to come. Whether you or your nominee come from a property organisation, a proptech company, the agency world, law, or any other part of the industry, if you live and breathe property and consistently lead where others follow, we want to hear your story. To be eligible for this award, nominees must be under the age of 35 as of 31 December 2024.


Property Leader of the Year

The Property Leader of the Year category honours an exceptional individual who has demonstrated outstanding leadership, innovation, and impact within the commercial property sector. This award celebrates individuals who are driving success, fostering growth, and shaping the future of the industry. • Role and Responsibility: The nominee must hold a senior leadership or executive position (e.g., CEO, Managing Director, Partner) within a company operating in the commercial property sector. They should have significant influence over business strategies, market presence, or operations in the industry. • Experience: The nominee should have at least five years of experience in a leadership role within the commercial property sector.
