Teesworks Limited is the private company responsible for the redevelopment of the Teesworks site, covering 2,500 acres within a 4,500-acre area on the south bank of the River Tees. Teesworks is a central component to the Teesside Freeport, the UK’s largest freeport, and has been set up to promote the economic growth and commercial development of the Tees Valley.

Teesworks Limited are regenerating the vast site and have secured a number of substantial investments, creating thousands of jobs and large-scale economic growth for the region. The redevelopment is transforming the former steelworks site into a world-class industrial hub attracting global companies to the region.
